Monday was not a fun day to be a NC State fan. In addition to having to go back to work after a loss at Miami, the Pack learned that two key players, redshirt junior linebacker Isaiah Moore and redshirt senior guard Chandler Zavala, will miss the remainder of the season.

And you can always count on NC State baseball coach Elliott Avent doing the classy thing, in this case giving an autographed baseball to the son of former NC State beat writer Joe Giglio. Giglio's two sons were involved in a single-car accident that left both with serious injuries. One of them returned home Monday.
