This weekend, NC State hosted one of its top targets in four-star, Rivals150 guard Daniel Skillings from Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic. On Wednesday, it will hear word from four-star, top-100 prospect and center Shawn Phillips of Ypsilanti (Mich.) Ypsi Prep Academy.

And it was in the house to watch four-star guard and Rivals top 100 guard Rylan Griffen from Richardson (Tex.) High on Tuesday.

NC State will hear tomorrow from Phillips, and it also continues it’s pursuit of Griffen after it brought in Skillings on an official visit. While hosting Skillings, Pack head coach Kevin Keatts played the role of Good Samaritan.

In football news, one former Pack QB will not have a game to get ready for anymore. Meanwhile, the Pack learned some news late Monday evening about a key defensive player for Clemson, and also now knows when it will host Louisiana Tech.

More football recruits have confirmed they will be in attendance this weekend, including four-star defensive line commit Brandon Cleveland from Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day, offered class of 2023 receiver Kevin Concepcion from Charlotte Chambers High

Finally, Baseball America’s Joe Healy was able to watch a NC State scrimmage Monday evening and came away impressed.
