During the day, NC State third-year offensive line coach John Garrison was giving out a new scholarship to a late-blooming target in the 2022 class.

In the evening, he was hosting an award-winning chef at his house for his weekly dinner with the Wolfpack O-line.

In football news, NC State head coach Dave Doeren had a blunt response to why the Pack did not go for two in overtime against Clemson, and the Pack also has schedules a future home-and-home with a national power from the SEC.

NC State has offered Jacarrius Peak, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman from Valdosta (Ga.) High who has also received scholarships from Central Florida, Georgia Tech and Virginia this week.
