NC State has one verbal commitment in the class of 2025 and at least six scholarships available.
NC State has landed Kettering (Ohio) Archbishop Alter senior wing R.J. Greer for the 2025 class, and former senior target Bryce Heard of Flossmoor (Ill.) Homewood-Flossmoor picked the Wolfpack and decided to enroll early and join the class of 2024.
Commitment
Greer announced a top four of NC State, Cincinnati, Penn State and play in the NBL in Australia on Jan. 4, 2024. The 6-4, 165-pounder from Springboro (Ohio) High was offered by the Wolfpack on Sept. 8, 2023, following his unofficial visit to Raleigh. Greer’s father is Ricardo Greer, who was a standout player at Pittsburgh and played overseas. He’s currently an assistant coach at Dayton.
Greer changed gears and officially visited NC State in June, and then quickly committed. He hasn't played this spring due to injuries, but was hopeful to return this month for the NBA Academy.
