WINSTON-SALEM — Wake Forest coach Steve Forbes knew he had to pick either letting NC State redshirt junior center D.J. Burns try to score one-on-one or to double him.

Forbes decided to rarely double Burns, and he was disappointed his squad gave up 48 second-half points in the 79-77 loss Saturday.
