CHARLOTTE — Junior safety Robert “Tre” Geathers III had a breakout season on the field, and it is reflected in the Rivals.com national rankings.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Geathers checked in at No. 145 overall nationally, No. 2 overall in the state of North Carolina and the No. 7 safety in the country in the class of 2027.
