Soph QB Jayvon Gilmore building relationship with NC State
NC State quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper knows how to find players in South Carolina.
The Wolfpack landed class of 2025 quarterback Will Wilson from Columbia (S.C.) Richland Northeast High, and are now targeting another quarterback from the Palmetto State. NC State and Roper offered sophomore Jayvon Gilmore of Gaffney (S.C.) High on Feb. 20, and he was scheduled to take in the Wolfpack’s practice Friday. He has never been to Raleigh before, and also plans to return for the spring game April 6.
