Last Friday, The Wolfpacker made the trek to Winterville, N.C. (just outside of Greenville) and South Central High, who was hosting Hertford County High from Ahoskie, N.C.

Of interest to us was NC State three-star defensive tackle pledge Jaylen Smith for Hertford County. Smith would officially finish the game with four tackles, including one for a loss, and three pass breakups. Hertford County won an entertaining contest, 35-32.
