No coach ever at NC State has worked as long at the school as men's golf coach Richard Sykes.
Sykes is retiring on June 30 at age 72. His team just finished fifth at the ACC Men's Golf Championships and is expected to receive a bid into a regional when they are announced May 4.
Sykes sat down with The Wolfpacker publisher Stu Coman, his friend for over 30 years, to reminisce about his many days at NC State. Matt Carter and Jacey Zembal also talk a little basketball recruiting.
