On Wednesday evening, NC State Wolfpack football added some immediate help for a potential 2020 season when safety Rakeim Ashford from Jones College in Ellisville, Miss., announced he would be enrolling and foregoing a sophomore season at the JC level.

Ashford, 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, had been offered by NC State last month.
