Pfafftown (N.C.) Reagan freshman Jacob Smith committed to NC State baseball a little over a year ago.

The Wolfpack landed Smith Feb. 1, 2022, and in a perfect world, he hopes to get a football scholarship in Raleigh. The quarterback/shortstop prospect attended NC State football’s Junior Day on Jan. 20, and considers himself a Wolfpack baseball commit.
