Three-star receiver Nate McCollum from Hampton (Ga.) Dutchtown had one more trip to make to NC State before he was ready to commit. He wanted to meet Wolfpack baseball head coach Elliott Avent since McCollum wants to play both sports in college.

McCollum also knew this trip was a mere formality for what his final choice was going to be.
