Recruitment:

Had 19 offers entering the summer.

Focused on three schools: Louisville, NC State and Michigan State.

Verbally committed to the Wolfpack on Dec. 12.

Recruiter of record:

Wide receivers coach George McDonald.

Quotable:

“He’s … a good prospect — a big rangy guy. He can still stretch the field. I know that’s something State has been looking for a while — help take the top off the defenses. Provillon has pretty good hands, somebody who is going to use his length to his advantage, and quarterbacks are going to love that.” — Rivals.com regional analyst Adam Friedman.

Scouting report:

• Good size for a receiver prospect.

• Has decent speed but needs to improve his quickness.

• Shows good hands on film.

2017 projection:

Provillon is a talented receiver prospect, but it is going to be difficult to break through as a true freshman with the receiving corps that NC State has returning. Redshirting him would be a nice luxury for NCSU.
