Junior tackle Umar Rockhead active in visiting schools

Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek junior left tackle Umar Rockhead has long been on NC State’s radar.

The athletic 6-foot-5, 245-pounder attended NCSU’s Alpha Wolf on July 29, and then came back to watch Charleston Southern at NC State on Sept. 10, and the exciting Wake Forest at NC State game Nov. 5.

Rockhead returned to Raleigh for the Wolfpack’s Junior Day on Jan. 20. He also has gone to Penn State, Coastal Carolina and James Madison in recent weeks.
