GREENSBORO — Walkertown (N.C.) High junior point guard Jalen Cone unleashed a new look for himself for the last two July evaluation periods.

Cone started April playing for Team Loaded NC 17s on the adidas circuit, and then moved within the Team Loaded family for the Virginia squad. He played in front of college coaches during the last two weekends of April, and again at the adidas Championships for three games July 12-13 in the Los Angeles area.

With the adidas Gauntlet series coming to an end, he returned to a traveling team program his family is quite familiar with over the years. Cone made his CP3 16s debut last week in Greensboro, N.C., and will hope to jump start his recruitment in Las Vegas this week during the third and final evaluation period in July.
