Middleburg (Fla.) High junior defensive lineman Bernard Carter has become very interested in NC State after he received his scholarship offer.

The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder was offered by NCSU defensive line coach Charley Wiles on Jan. 24, and he is starting to develop a good recruiting relationship. One of his favorite NFL players is a NC State alum.
