GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State coach Sidney Lowe liked how his team responded Thursday night in putting away North Carolina Greensboro 89-67 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
NC State shot lights out in the second half and passed the ball well. The Wolfpack showed progress in learning how to respond to another team's run. However, Lowe still would like to see his players develop more of a killer instinct in putting a team away.

Lowe talked about where the team is with the non-conference schedule almost coming to an end, freshman small forward Scott Wood's shooting, how Dennis Horner responded well in the second half, and the status of injured freshman center Jordan Vandenberg, following the game.
North Carolina Greensboro coach Mike Dement, who was joined by players Ben Stywall and Brandon Evans, talked about how the bigger Wolfpack wore his team down.
