NC State senior wide receiver Thayer Thomas adjusted smoothly to new freshman quarterback MJ Morris.

Morris threw three second-half touchdown passes — two of them to Thomas — to help NC State win 22-21 over Virginia Tech on Thursday at Carter-Finley Stadium.
