NC State coach Kevin Keatts expects a stiff challenge and a fast-paced game Friday against Creighton in the NCAA Tournament in Denver, Colo.

Keatts was just glad to see the Wolfpack pop up on the brackets quickly into the selection show.

Keatts said he is still watching film of the Bluejays, but has been impressed with junior center Ryan Kalkbrenner, dating back to watching him in high school. He is averaging 15.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, and is shooting 71.4 percent from the field.

The Bluejays went 21-12 overall and finished with a NET basketball ranking of No. 17, due in part to going 10-11 in Quadrant I/II games.
