CHARLOTTE — NC State coach Kevin Keatts knows his young team let one slip away Friday at the Spectrum Center.

NC State struggled at the free-throw line, making 21 of 34, and gave up enough back-door cuts to allow Richmond to pull away for a 83-74 win.
