GREENVILLE — NC State redshirt junior quarterback Devin Leary summed up what the Wolfpack were feeling by saying "a win is a win."

Leary and NC State escaped with a 21-20 victory after ECU missed an extra point and then a 41-yard field goal Saturday in the season opener for both teams.
