Two players, including Mustafa Greene, dismissed

Head coach Tom O'Brien confirmed following NC State's 20-18 win at Maryland that two players were dismissed from the team.
Redshirt sophomore running back Mustafa Greene, who has been suspended since the Connecticut game, and redshirt freshman receiver Tyrrell Burriss are no longer with the team and will not return.

"I've dismissed Tyrrell Burriss and Mustafa Greene," the coach said. "They are no longer on the football team. They weren't champions in the classroom or in the community. They're not going to get the opportunity to play on this football team, so they will no longer be with us."
Greene was State's leading rusher in 2010 with 597 rushing yards on 134 carries, but missed last season with a foot injury that required two surgeries. He rushed for 28 times for 101 yards this season.
Burriss was recruited to play cornerback but moved to receiver in the preseason and had not played for NCSU.
