Mount Olive (N.C.) North Dublin High sophomore nose tackle Trashawn Ruffin took advantage of stopping by NC State to check out a spring practice.

The 6-foot-4, 303-pound Ruffin was offered by NC State defensive line coach Charley Wiles on Feb. 6, so the visit March 22 was the first time to see the Wolfpack after the offer.
