Thursdays injury report: New starter at MLB

NC State sophomore Dwayne Maddox will get his first start at middle linebacker Saturday at Florida State in place of fifth-year senior and leading tackler Ray Michel, who is out with an ankle injury.
Maddox has started six out of the first seven games at weakside outside linebacker, getting 27 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack and six quarterback pressures. Michel, who made the defensive calls, exits with a team-high 53 tackles.

Sophomore Sterling Lucas entered the week second string at middle linebacker and is expected to remain in that role. Redshirt freshman Terrell Manning will likely start at the weakside spot, while redshirt sophomore Audie Cole rounds out the unit on the strongside.
NC State also announced that third wide receiver and return man T.J. Graham will miss the game with a leg injury suffered against Boston College on Oct. 17. Graham has 12 receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown, plus he has 23 kickoff returns for 574 yards and one touchdown and 15 punt returns for 156.
Clem Johnson, Jamelle Eugene and Donald Bowens will divide the duties returning punts and kickoffs.
