During his four-year career at NC State, Scott Wood (2009-13) set school records for three-pointers made (334), free throw percentage with at least 100 attempts (88.6 percent), minutes played (4,318), games started (136) and consecutive free throws made (66). He is 19th all-time in points scored with 1,467.
After playing professionally in Spain, Wood received a camp invite with the Golden State Warriors and played last season with their D-League team.
Wood is back in the Raleigh-region this summer, and he joined Matt Carter and Jacey Zembal from The Wolfpacker in our weekly live podcast at Amedeo's. Among the topics he discussed:
• What his future life ambition is at NC State (and it is not coaching)?
• Which record he is most proud?
• Which loss is part of his most memorable memories in Raleigh?
• What idea he has to help turn the corner for Wolfpack basketball.
