Some thoughts for this week:
• The transfer portal started March 24, and after 12 days, the Wolfpack are starting to shape together their plan, which has thus far resulted in McNeese State guard transfer Alyn Breed.
• The early trends of the portal are starting to emerge, and that will also affect NC State, which is trying to bring in 10 new players this cycle.
• NC State has picked things up with a fast north-south running back in the class of 2026.
• The Under Armour Camp is Sunday in Charlotte, N.C., and a good chunk of NC State's recruiting board will be in attendance.
