• MLK weekend always has some key hoops games, and this Saturday and Monday have a few, including NC State senior signee Zymicah Wilkins and Arden (N.C.) Christ School playing at Charlotte Chambers on Saturday.
• NC State had some tough choices in trying to replace junior power forward Mohamed Diarra turned professional last April.
