NC State was riding high off of defeating California and Stanford, but weren't ready for the increased in competition against Duke last Saturday.

Duke jumped out to a 12-0 first-quarter lead and then pulled away to win 29-19 at Carter-Finley Stadium. The Wolfpack fell to 5-5 overall and 2-4 overall going into the bye week.
