NC State flirted with disaster Saturday, but rallied behind freshman quarterback Cedrick Bailey, and a retooled secondary to defeat Louisiana Tech 30-20 last Saturday at Carter-Finley Stadium.

Bailey came in on the 28th offensive play to replace injured quarterback Grayson McCall, and the Wolfpack were trailing 7-6. That soon mushroomed to 17-6 deficit at halftime.
