NC State made a strong move Wednesday in offering Walkertown (N.C.) High sophomore quarterback Bryce Baker.

NC State quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper, who had coached the running backs last year, has quickly formed a bond with Baker. He had also attended NC State’s camp last June. NC State joins Appalachian State and Campbell in offering him in football, and Lees-McRae has offered him in basketball.
