GREENSBORO — Markus Kerr has a chance to cement his place as one of the top sophomores in the state this spring and summer.

The Charlotte (N.C.) Chambers standout was likely the youngest performer in last Saturday’s Josh Level Classic, but more than held his own at Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley High. Kerr had 14 points and five rebounds in a 136-131 victory.
