CONCORD — Sophomore Austin Swartz wasn’t feeling healthy and his play was suffering, and it came to a head in the season opener Nov. 13.

Swartz opened the game for Concord (N.C.) Cannon School with a three-pointer, and then struggled before exiting the contest in the third quarter against Charlotte (N.C.) Northside Christian.
