Scouting video: Sophomore Gus Ritchey showcases versatility
HILLSBOROUGH — Pittsboro (N.C.) Northwood sophomore athlete Gus Ritchey established his recruiting reputation last year, and is aiming to solidify and grow it this season.
Northwood defeated Hillsborough (N.C.) Cedar Ridge easily 63-6 last Friday, with Ritchey playing both defensive end and tight end for a little over three quarters of the contest. NC State tight ends coach Todd Goebbel watched part of the game to evaluate Ritchey.
The Wolfpack Central was also in attendance to get an initial look at Ritchey, who has offers from Michigan, Georgia, Washington, Oregon and Virginia Tech, among others.
