ROCK HILL, S.C. — NC State senior commit Paul McNeil had Wolfpack coach Kevin Keatts poised and ready to view him during his time at adidas 3SSB.

McNeil showed flashes of what Keatts hopes he'll be in a year. The Rockingham (N.C.) Richmond Senior High standout had to get adjusted to several new teammates with Garner Road traveling team.

McNeil and Garner Road played Austin Rivers Southeast Elite, wetting up a showdown with top 25 senior wing V.J. Edgecombe. The two guarded each other sparingly, but SE Elite won 70-55, and were up comfortably at halftime.
