Scouting video: Jacob Lawson vs. QEA

OAK RIDGE, N.C. - Junior power forward Jacob Lawson is enjoying the changes in his life.
The former Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford High standout is making a name for himself on a talented Oak Ridge Military Academy squad, that also includes NC State sophomore center commit Joseph Uchebo.

The explosive 6-foot-8, 210-pound athlete showed flashes of his impressive leaping ability Friday in a heart-breaking 66-64 loss to Winston-Salem (N.C.) Quality Education Academy.
Lawson scored 10 points on 4 of 9 shooting (0 for 1 on three-pointer's), and 2 of 2 at the line. He added five rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and three turnovers, while battling second-half foul trouble.
Lawson said NC State, Miami, Florida, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Clemson and Seton Hall, are some of the schools showing interest.
