The first contact period of the new year is well underway and colleges across the country hosted many of the nation's best recruits for visits. Rivals250 offensive lineman Sam Pendleton made his way from Pfafftown (N.C.) Ronald Reagan to Penn State this weekend. It was his first trip in a series of visits he has planned for this month but it isn't one he'll soon forget.
