Pack loses Walker for season

NC State's string of bad luck with knee injuries continued Friday afternoon when the Pack officially announced that starting strong safety Javon Walker, a redshirt freshman, will miss the remainder of the season with an unspecified knee injury.
Walker was inserted into the starting lineup as a full-time starter for the East Carolina game and responded with 11 tackles and a pass break-up. He was injured during the first half of the Miami game.

The good news is that leading receiver senior John Dunlap and sophomore offensive tackle Julian Williams, who started the first six games of the year, have both been cleared to play.
