New corners coach Brian Mitchell likes NC State's depth
In a defensive staff full of newcomers, new cornerbacks coach Brian Mitchell may be the one that connects the dots.
From 2013-15, Mitchell worked as a cornerbacks coach at West Virginia. The defensive coordinator and his boss the last two seasons there was Tony Gibson, who is now the Pack’s defensive coordinator. The two have what Mitchell says goes beyond being simple coaching friends.
