NC State, others continue to recruit DL Travali Price hard
Three-star defensive lineman Travali Price from North Lincoln High in Lincolnton, N.C., is seeing no let-up in his recruitment despite the extended dead period. In fact, it may be even more intense.
“It’s crazy,” Price confessed. “A lot of phone calls every night.”
That’s not surprising considering Price has accumulated an impressive offer list after the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder piled up 84 tackles, including 21 for loss and 5.5 sacks, and 27 quarterback hurries during his junior season. Price also had three fumble recoveries (returning one for a touchdown) and two forced fumbles.
That has led to offers from, among others, Arizona State, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
