Quarantine life in the age of the COVID-19 virus pandemic affects everyone, football recruits included.

Take Cornelius (N.C.) Hough linebacker Kaci Seegars for example. These days, Seegars spends his days doing school assignments, working out and playing video games.

“It’s boring, but it could be worse,” Seegars added.

One of the biggest impacts the shutdown had was on Seegars’ recruiting plans. He was supposed to be hitting the road in the spring to be on course for making a summertime decision on what college he would pick.

That became impossible when the NCAA extended the dead period, at first till mid-April and then through the end of May.
