NC State announced they will wear throwback uniforms as part of celebrating the 50th season at Carter-Finley Stadium against Notre Dame on Oct. 8.
“It's a special year as we honor Carter-Finley's 50th anniversary,” head coach Dave Doeren said in a statement released by the school. “To recognize our proud tradition, we have brought back the diamond logo and uniform.”
The Wolfpack originally wore the diamond logo from 1986, starting with former coach Dick Sheridan, until 2000, when they switched back to the traditional Block S.
