NC State was able to make up for lost time and quickly get Brookwood (Ala.) High junior offensive lineman William Sanders on campus.

New NCSU offensive line coach Garett Tujague had visited Sanders in January and eased the transition from former coach John Garrison, who had offered Sanders on Oct. 10, 2022. Garrison is now at Ole Miss.
