NC State redshirt sophomore defensive end C.J. Clark has been tasked with replacing junior Savion Jackson, who suffered a season-ending knee injury against Syracuse.

Clark started last Thursday against Virginia Tech in place of Jackson. Clark understands the fickle nature of college football because he suffered a season-ending injury last year.

NC State hosts Wake Forest at 8 p.m. Saturday on the ACC Network.
