NC State RB Daylan Smothers looking forward to 'home' game
The wait finally ended for NC State redshirt freshman running back Daylan “Hollywood” Smothers.
Smothers was able to play his first game for NC State and get his feet wet against Western Carolina last Thursday. He showed his burst on a 25-yard run and had three carries for 39 yards, and he also returned two kickoffs for 49 yards against the Catamounts.
