Junior athlete Trey Horne could be referred to as an “honorary” state of North Carolina recruit.

Horne grew up in Rockingham, N.C., until the sixth grade. He dreamed of playing at Richmond Senior High one day, but ended up attending two years at Anderson (S.C.) T.L Hanna High, and his junior year at Piedmont (S.C.) Wren.
