Recruiter of record:

Wide receivers coach George McDonald

Quotable:

“He’s a bigger receiver whose able to fight through contact and make very difficult catches … Over the past few years we’ve seen him make some pretty spectacular catches over the middle and down the sideline. With that extreme strength he’s able to fight through that contact with defensive backs that try to hold onto him. He’s got a very reliable set of hands, and he has a big catch-radius. Now he’s also a long-strider, so he’s deceptively fast. When he breaks that press coverage at the lien of scrimmage he’s able to get down the field in a hurry. With that big catch-radius, quarterbacks love to throw him the ball over the middle, down the field and in really tight windows.” — Rivals.com recruiting analyst Adam Friedman

Scouting report:

Polished receiver prospect.

Impressive size and strength for a wideout with strong hands.

Not a blazer but good speed and athleticism.

2016 projection:

Harmon has a lot of traits that go-to receivers possess: notably the ability to get open and sure hands. Given his size and frame, he may be able to handle the physicality of college football better than most true freshmen. Thus it would not be surprising at all if Harmon is contributing next season for NC State.
