NC State redshirt junior H-back Trent Pennix suffered an injury in the season opener against East Carolina.

Pennix returned to action last Thursday against Virginia Tech, caught a big seven-yard touchdown catch in the 22-21 come-from-behind victory.

NC State hosts Wake Forest at 8 p.m. Saturday on the ACC Network.
