Massillon (Ohio) Washington High senior defensive end Chase Bond had only been to NC State during his official visit, but he wanted to return as a committed recruit.

Bond officially visited NC State on June 7-9 and verbally committed following the trip June 11 in a whirlwind recruitment. He wanted to make sure the impression he got in June was an authentic one, so he returned for Alpha Wolf on July 28 for an unofficial visit.
