NCSU quarterback Ben Finley with his second terrific throw of the game, this time to Devin Carter for the 26-yard touchdown pass to give the Wolfpack a 24-17 lead with 3:54 left in the game.

Drake Maye, UNC tie the game 17-17 (6:30 p.m.)

North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye takes off and runs in from 14 yards out and the Tar Heels have tied the game 17-17 with 7:53 left.

NC State tacks on field goal (5:13 p.m.) 

NC State senior kicker Christopher Dunn ends the first half with a 29-yard field goal to give NC State a 17-10 lead.

UNC gets first touchdown (4:53 p.m.)

Good blocking by the UNC offensive line and running back Elijah Green runs nine yards for a touchdown. NC State now leads 14-10 with 5:03 left in the second quarter.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Ben Finley threw a beautiful 28-yard touchdown pass to freshman wide receiver Terrell Timmons to give NC State a 14-3 lead over UNC with 12:38 left in the second quarter.

NC State strikes first (3:42 p.m.)

Senior quarterback Jack Chambers keeps it for the easy touchdown and NC State leads UNC 7-0 with 13:20 left in the first quarter. The touchdown was set up by NCSU redshirt junior wide receiver Devin Carter beating a UNC defensive back, who had fallen down, for a 52-yard gain. Plus there was a penalty tacked on to the play to push it to the two-yard line.
