Junior tackle Darion Rivers knew NC State was place for him
West Charlotte (N.C.) High junior offensive tackle Darion Rivers knew about two weeks ago he was going to pick NC State.
Rivers just wasn’t sure when he’d announce it publicly, but did fill in the Wolfpack coaches about his thoughts. NCSU offered him Jan. 30 on Junior Day, and offensive line coach John Garrison did a quality job in locking up the developing 6-foot-6, 255-pounder.
